User scans and enters their SKU When a user scans the code, they land on this site and type in the SKU or product code printed on the label. The SKU is the unique identifier that pulls up the right product.

Content is served in their language The site detects the user's browser language and immediately shows instructions, safety warnings, and compliance documents in that language. They can switch language at any time.

Content is always up to date Because everything is stored centrally, manufacturers can update instructions, add new languages, or attach revised compliance certificates instantly — without touching the printed QR code.

For manufacturers

Product content is managed via a simple spreadsheet. When a row is updated, translations into all 12 languages are generated automatically and published to the platform within minutes.

ScanThisProduct.com was built to solve a real problem we kept encountering — products sold across borders with instructions that only made sense in one language, compliance documents buried in filing cabinets, and no easy way for end users to access up-to-date safety information.

We're a small team with a background in product compliance, logistics, and software. We built this platform to be simple, reliable, and accessible to everyone — from large manufacturers to small independent suppliers.

The platform is designed with EU EN 301 549 and US ADA/Section 508 accessibility standards in mind. Content management follows WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines throughout.
